Supply Chain Management deals with management of materials, information, and financial flows in a network consisting of suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers.  It is important that these flows are coordinated and integrated effectively in a supply chain.  Recent trends such as globalization of operations & markets, new information technologies, international procurement, and increasing pressure from customers has presented Supply Chain Management both challenges and opportunities.  This seminar will address some of the strategies and trends related to global supply chain management.
